哥林多后书第13章
概览
保罗在他第三次探访之前，以严肃的最后警告结束这封信。他援引申命记「凭两三个见证人的口，句句都要定准」的规条，宣告这次他必不宽容那些犯了罪却未悔改的人；他们既要求基督在他里面说话的凭据，就必得着。然而他把这考验重新框定：与其察验他，他们倒应当省察自己是否在信仰之中，因为耶稣基督在他们里面——除非他们是经不起考验的。保罗最深的心愿不是要证明自己的能力，而是要他们行善，即或这显得他自己「不堪」也无妨，因为他不能敌挡真理，只能扶助真理。他为他们的完全与长进祷告，解释他如今写得严厉，是为了同在时不必严厉，好用主所赐的权柄去造就，而非拆毁。这封信以温柔的劝勉结束——要喜乐、要追求完全、要同心合意、要彼此和睦——并以圣洁的亲嘴问安，以及那丰盛的三一祝福：恩惠、慈爱与感动（团契）。
1这 是 我 第 三 次 要 到 你 们 那 里 去 。 凭 两 三 个 人 的 口 作 见 证 ， 句 句 都 要 定 准 。This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
2我 从 前 说 过 ， 如 今 不 在 你 们 那 里 又 说 ， 正 如 我 第 二 次 见 你 们 的 时 候 所 说 的 一 样 ， 就 是 对 那 犯 了 罪 的 和 其 馀 的 人 说 ： 我 若 再 来 ， 必 不 宽 容 。I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:
3你 们 既 然 寻 求 基 督 在 我 里 面 说 话 的 凭 据 ， 我 必 不 宽 容 。 因 为 ， 基 督 在 你 们 身 上 不 是 软 弱 的 ， 在 你 们 里 面 是 有 大 能 的 。Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
4他 因 软 弱 被 钉 在 十 字 架 上 ， 却 因 神 的 大 能 仍 然 活 着 。 我 们 也 是 这 样 同 他 软 弱 ， 但 因 神 向 你 们 所 显 的 大 能 ， 也 必 与 他 同 活 。For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
5你 们 总 要 自 己 省 察 有 信 心 没 有 ， 也 要 自 己 试 验 。 岂 不 知 你 们 若 不 是 可 弃 绝 的 ， 就 有 耶 稣 基 督 在 你 们 心 里 麽 ？Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
6我 却 盼 望 你 们 晓 得 ， 我 们 不 是 可 弃 绝 的 人 。But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
7我 们 求 神 ， 叫 你 们 一 件 恶 事 都 不 做 ； 这 不 是 要 显 明 我 们 是 蒙 悦 纳 的 ， 是 要 你 们 行 事 端 正 ， 任 凭 人 看 我 们 是 被 弃 绝 的 罢 ！Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
8我 们 凡 事 不 能 敌 挡 真 理 ， 只 能 扶 助 真 理 。For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
9即 使 我 们 软 弱 ， 你 们 刚 强 ， 我 们 也 欢 喜 ； 并 且 我 们 所 求 的 ， 就 是 你 们 作 完 全 人 。For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
10所 以 ， 我 不 在 你 们 那 里 的 时 候 ， 把 这 话 写 给 你 们 ， 好 叫 我 见 你 们 的 时 候 ， 不 用 照 主 所 给 我 的 权 柄 严 厉 的 待 你 们 ； 这 权 柄 原 是 为 造 就 人 ， 并 不 是 为 败 坏 人 。Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
11还 有 末 了 的 话 ： 愿 弟 兄 们 都 喜 乐 。 要 作 完 全 人 ； 要 受 安 慰 ； 要 同 心 合 意 ； 要 彼 此 和 睦 。 如 此 ， 仁 爱 和 平 的 神 必 常 与 你 们 同 在 。Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
12你 们 亲 嘴 问 安 ， 彼 此 务 要 圣 洁 。Greet one another with an holy kiss.
13众 圣 徒 都 问 你 们 安 。All the saints salute you.
14愿 主 耶 稣 基 督 的 恩 惠 、 神 的 慈 爱 、 圣 灵 的 感 动 ， 常 与 你 们 众 人 同 在 ！The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
