以西结书第15章
概览
在一个简短却尖锐的比喻中，耶和华问：葡萄树的木头比起森林中树木的木头有什么用处呢？葡萄树不出木材，做不成有用的橛子，一旦两头被火烧焦，就毫无用处了。于是神宣告耶路撒冷正如那烧焦的葡萄木——只配丢入火中——因为其居民不忠，祂必向他们变脸。
1耶 和 华 的 话 临 到 我 说 ：And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2人 子 啊 ， 葡 萄 树 比 别 样 树 有 甚 麽 强 处 ？ 葡 萄 枝 比 众 树 枝 有 甚 麽 好 处 ？Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
3其 上 可 以 取 木 料 做 甚 麽 工 用 ， 可 以 取 来 做 钉 子 挂 甚 麽 器 皿 麽 ？Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
4看 哪 ， 已 经 抛 在 火 中 当 作 柴 烧 ， 火 既 烧 了 两 头 ， 中 间 也 被 烧 了 ， 还 有 益 於 工 用 麽 ？Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
5完 全 的 时 候 尚 且 不 合 乎 甚 麽 工 用 ， 何 况 被 火 烧 坏 ， 还 能 合 乎 甚 麽 工 用 麽 ？Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
6所 以 ， 主 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ： 众 树 以 内 的 葡 萄 树 ， 我 怎 样 使 他 在 火 中 当 柴 ， 也 必 照 样 待 耶 路 撒 冷 的 居 民 。Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
7我 必 向 他 们 变 脸 ； 他 们 虽 从 火 中 出 来 ， 火 却 要 烧 灭 他 们 。 我 向 他 们 变 脸 的 时 候 ， 你 们 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 华 。And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.
8我 必 使 地 土 荒 凉 ， 因 为 他 们 行 事 干 犯 我 。 这 是 主 耶 和 华 说 的 。And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
