Old Testament
Psalms 134
Overview
The final, three-verse Song of Ascents is a closing call to worship. It summons the servants of the LORD who stand by night in his house to lift up their hands and bless him, and then turns the blessing around: may the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion. It is a fitting benediction to seal the pilgrim collection.
1A Song of degrees. Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD.
2Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
3The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
