Lord, close is where You promised to be for the brokenhearted, and I believe You keep Your promises. I bring those whose hearts have been shattered — by betrayal, loss, rejection, or grief — and ask You to be near in the most tangible way You can be. Bind up what has broken. Let the crushing become the beginning of something only You can build from ruins.
