Prayer

Lord, genuine friendship is rare and precious. I pray for the community around me — that it would be more than acquaintance and attendance. Give us courage to be honest, to bear one another's burdens, and to pursue each other when we disappear. Protect the friendships that matter. And where I have been a poor friend, give me grace to repair and re-invest.
