Prayer

Lord, my words have power — for life or for death, for healing or for harm. Guard my tongue today. Let me pause before I speak in anger, before I gossip, before I say the cutting thing I will regret. Fill my mouth with words that build up, encourage, and speak truth in love. And where words are not needed, give me the grace of silence.
