Hope in the Waiting

Prayer

Lord, the waiting is difficult. What I hoped for has not come, and I do not know when it will. But You are not absent — You are active in ways I cannot yet see. Teach me to wait well: not passively, but with expectant faith. Let hope anchor me while the season works something in me I could not receive any other way.
