Lord Jesus, come. The church has prayed this since You left, and it remains the most honest expression of where Christian hope points. I say it not from despair but from longing — for the day when every wrong is made right, every tear is wiped away, and we see You face to face. Come quickly. And while we wait, let us be found faithful.
