Lord, Your Word is alive. It is not a collection of ancient wisdom but a living voice that speaks into the present with precision and power. Let Scripture do its sharp and necessary work in me — dividing what I think I believe from what I actually believe, exposing motives, correcting error. I submit to it not just intellectually but as the authority over my whole life.
