Prayer

Lord, suffering is real and I will not minimize it. But Your Word says it is momentary compared to an eternal weight of glory that awaits. I hold these two realities together — the pain of now and the promise of what is coming. Let the eternal perspective not erase present grief but give it a frame that makes it bearable and, somehow, useful.
