约伯记第29章

¹约 伯 又 接 着 说 ：Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

²惟 愿 我 的 景 况 如 从 前 的 月 份 ， 如 神 保 守 我 的 日 子 。Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;

³那 时 他 的 灯 照 在 我 头 上 ； 我 藉 他 的 光 行 过 黑 暗 。When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;

⁴我 愿 如 壮 年 的 时 候 ： 那 时 我 在 帐 棚 中 ， 神 待 我 有 密 友 之 情 ；As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;

⁵全 能 者 仍 与 我 同 在 ； 我 的 儿 女 都 环 绕 我 。When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;

⁶奶 多 可 洗 我 的 脚 ； 磐 石 为 我 出 油 成 河 。When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

⁷我 出 到 城 门 ， 在 街 上 设 立 座 位 ；When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

⁸少 年 人 见 我 而 ? 避 ， 老 年 人 也 起 身 站 立 ；The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.

⁹王 子 都 停 止 说 话 ， 用 手 捂 口 ；The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.

¹⁰首 领 静 默 无 声 ， 舌 头 贴 住 上 膛 。The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.

¹¹耳 朵 听 我 的 ， 就 称 我 有 福 ； 眼 睛 看 我 的 ， 便 称 赞 我 ；When the ear heard me , then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me , it gave witness to me:

¹²因 我 拯 救 哀 求 的 困 苦 人 和 无 人 帮 助 的 孤 儿 。Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

¹³将 要 灭 亡 的 为 我 祝 福 ； 我 也 使 寡 妇 心 中 欢 乐 。The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

¹⁴我 以 公 义 为 衣 服 ， 以 公 平 为 外 袍 和 冠 冕 。I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.

¹⁵我 为 瞎 子 的 眼 ， 瘸 子 的 脚 。I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.

¹⁶我 为 穷 乏 人 的 父 ； 素 不 认 识 的 人 ， 我 查 明 他 的 案 件 。I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.

¹⁷我 打 破 不 义 之 人 的 牙 床 ， 从 他 牙 齿 中 夺 了 所 抢 的 。And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

¹⁸我 便 说 ： 我 必 死 在 家 中 （ 原 文 是 窝 中 ） ， 必 增 添 我 的 日 子 ， 多 如 尘 沙 。Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.

¹⁹我 的 根 长 到 水 边 ； 露 水 终 夜 沾 在 我 的 枝 上 。My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

²⁰我 的 荣 耀 在 身 上 增 新 ； 我 的 弓 在 手 中 日 强 。My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.

²¹人 听 见 我 而 仰 望 ， 静 默 等 候 我 的 指 教 。Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

²²我 说 话 之 後 ， 他 们 就 不 再 说 ； 我 的 言 语 像 雨 露 滴 在 他 们 身 上 。After my words they spake not again; and my speech dropped upon them.

²³他 们 仰 望 我 如 仰 望 雨 ， 又 张 开 口 如 切 慕 春 雨 。And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.

²⁴他 们 不 敢 自 信 ， 我 就 向 他 们 含 笑 ； 他 们 不 使 我 脸 上 的 光 改 变 。If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.

²⁵我 为 他 们 选 择 道 路 ， 又 坐 首 位 ； 我 如 君 王 在 军 队 中 居 住 ， 又 如 吊 丧 的 安 慰 伤 心 的 人 。I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforteth the mourners.
