约伯记第37章

¹因 此 我 心 战 兢 ， 从 原 处 移 动 。At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place.

²听 啊 ， 神 轰 轰 的 声 音 是 他 口 中 所 发 的 响 声 。Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth.

³他 发 响 声 震 遍 天 下 ， 发 电 光 闪 到 地 极 。He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

⁴随 後 人 听 见 有 雷 声 轰 轰 ， 大 发 威 严 ， 雷 电 接 连 不 断 。After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

⁵神 发 出 奇 妙 的 雷 声 ； 他 行 大 事 ， 我 们 不 能 测 透 。God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.

⁶他 对 雪 说 ： 要 降 在 地 上 ； 对 大 雨 和 暴 雨 也 是 这 样 说 。For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

⁷他 封 住 各 人 的 手 ， 叫 所 造 的 万 人 都 晓 得 他 的 作 为 。He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

⁸百 兽 进 入 穴 中 ， 卧 在 洞 内 。Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

⁹暴 风 出 於 南 宫 ； 寒 冷 出 於 北 方 。Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

¹⁰神 嘘 气 成 冰 ； 宽 阔 之 水 也 都 凝 结 。By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

¹¹他 使 密 云 盛 满 水 气 ， 布 散 电 光 之 云 ；Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

¹²这 云 是 藉 他 的 指 引 游 行 旋 转 ， 得 以 在 全 地 面 上 行 他 一 切 所 吩 咐 的 ，And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.

¹³或 为 责 罚 ， 或 为 润 地 ， 或 为 施 行 慈 爱 。He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

¹⁴约 伯 啊 ， 你 要 留 心 听 ， 要 站 立 思 想 神 奇 妙 的 作 为 。Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

¹⁵神 如 何 吩 咐 这 些 ， 如 何 使 云 中 的 电 光 照 耀 ， 你 知 道 麽 ？Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

¹⁶云 彩 如 何 浮 於 空 中 ， 那 知 识 全 备 者 奇 妙 的 作 为 ， 你 知 道 麽 ？Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

¹⁷南 风 使 地 寂 静 ， 你 的 衣 服 就 如 火 热 ， 你 知 道 麽 ？How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind ?

¹⁸你 岂 能 与 神 同 铺 穹 苍 麽 ？ 这 穹 苍 坚 硬 ， 如 同 铸 成 的 镜 子 。Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

¹⁹我 们 愚 昧 不 能 陈 说 ； 请 你 指 教 我 们 该 对 他 说 甚 麽 话 。Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

²⁰人 岂 可 说 ： 我 愿 与 他 说 话 ？ 岂 有 人 自 愿 灭 亡 麽 ？Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

²¹现 在 有 云 遮 蔽 ， 人 不 得 见 穹 苍 的 光 亮 ； 但 风 吹 过 ， 天 又 发 晴 。And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.

²²金 光 出 於 北 方 ， 在 神 那 里 有 可 怕 的 威 严 。Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

²³论 到 全 能 者 ， 我 们 不 能 测 度 ； 他 大 有 能 力 ， 有 公 平 和 大 义 ， 必 不 苦 待 人 。Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

²⁴所 以 ， 人 敬 畏 他 ； 凡 自 以 为 心 中 有 智 慧 的 人 ， 他 都 不 顾 念 。Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
