诗篇第140章
概览
这是一篇大卫的哀歌，恳求脱离那些图谋恶事、为义人设下网罗的强暴诡诈之人。大卫向耶和华——他的神、他得救的力量——呼求，求神使这些诡计之人自食其恶果。他以笃定的把握作结：神必为困苦人伸冤，正直人必住在祂面前。
1（ 大 卫 的 诗 ， 交 与 伶 长 。 ） 耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 拯 救 我 脱 离 凶 恶 的 人 ， 保 护 我 脱 离 强 暴 的 人 ！To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
2他 们 心 中 图 谋 奸 恶 ， 常 常 聚 集 要 争 战 。Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
3他 们 使 舌 头 尖 利 如 蛇 ， 嘴 里 有 虺 蛇 的 毒 气 。 （ 细 拉 ）They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
4耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 拯 救 我 脱 离 恶 人 的 手 ， 保 护 我 脱 离 强 暴 的 人 ！ 他 们 图 谋 推 我 跌 倒 。Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
5骄 傲 人 为 我 暗 设 网 罗 和 绳 索 ； 他 们 在 路 旁 铺 下 网 ， 设 下 圈 套 。 （ 细 拉 ）The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
6我 曾 对 耶 和 华 说 ： 你 是 我 的 神 。 耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 留 心 听 我 恳 求 的 声 音 ！I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
7主 ─ 耶 和 华 、 我 救 恩 的 力 量 啊 ， 在 争 战 的 日 子 ， 你 遮 蔽 了 我 的 头 。O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
8耶 和 华 啊 ， 求 你 不 要 遂 恶 人 的 心 愿 ； 不 要 成 就 他 们 的 计 谋 ， 恐 怕 他 们 自 高 。 （ 细 拉 ）Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
9至 於 那 些 昂 首 围 困 我 的 人 ， 愿 他 们 嘴 唇 的 奸 恶 陷 害 （ 原 文 是 遮 蔽 自 己 ） ！As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10愿 火 炭 落 在 他 们 身 上 ！ 愿 他 们 被 丢 在 火 中 ， 抛 在 深 坑 里 ， 不 能 再 起 来 。Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
11说 恶 言 的 人 在 地 上 必 坚 立 不 住 ； 祸 患 必 猎 取 强 暴 的 人 ， 将 他 打 倒 。Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him .
12我 知 道 耶 和 华 必 为 困 苦 人 伸 冤 ， 必 为 穷 乏 人 辨 屈 。I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
13义 人 必 要 称 赞 你 的 名 ； 正 直 人 必 住 在 你 面 前 。Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
