诗篇第8章
概览
诗篇第八篇是一首赞美诗，惊叹于神彰显在诸天之上的威严，以及祂赐给人类的尊贵。大卫仰望神所安设的月亮星宿，便问：这样荣耀的造物主，为何竟眷顾如此软弱的世人？然而神却赐人荣耀尊贵为冠冕，使他们治理祂手所造的，叫万物都服在他们脚下。这篇诗以同一句叠唱开始与结束，把人一切的尊贵都框在耶和华之名超绝的荣耀之中。
1（ 大 卫 的 诗 ， 交 与 伶 长 。 用 迦 特 乐 器 。 ） 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 的 主 啊 ， 你 的 名 在 全 地 何 其 美 ！ 你 将 你 的 荣 耀 彰 显 於 天 。To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2你 因 敌 人 的 缘 故 ， 从 婴 孩 和 吃 奶 的 口 中 ， 建 立 了 能 力 ， 使 仇 敌 和 报 仇 的 闭 口 无 言 。Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3我 观 看 你 指 头 所 造 的 天 ， 并 你 所 陈 设 的 月 亮 星 宿 ，When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4便 说 ： 人 算 甚 麽 ， 你 竟 顾 念 他 ？ 世 人 算 甚 麽 ， 你 竟 眷 顾 他 ？What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5你 叫 他 比 天 使 （ 或 译 ： 神 ） 微 小 一 点 ， 并 赐 他 荣 耀 尊 贵 为 冠 冕 。For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6你 派 他 管 理 你 手 所 造 的 ， 使 万 物 ， 就 是 一 切 的 牛 羊 、 田 野 的 兽 、 空 中 的 鸟 、 海 里 的 鱼 ， 凡 经 行 海 道 的 ， 都 服 在 他 的 脚 下 。Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7aAll sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8aThe fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 的 主 啊 ， 你 的 名 在 全 地 何 其 美 ！O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
